10 Commandments
Some one wrote me an email today to perk me up!
Thgt this is a good morning to share with all here:
Just to share with you the lovely msg below (If you really enjoy this, PLEASE pass to others. It may brighten someone's day). Someone has written these beautiful words. One must read and try to understand the deep meanings in them. They are like the Ten Commandments to follow in life all the time.
1] Prayer is not a "spare wheel" that you pull out when in trouble; it is a "steering wheel" that directs us in the right path throughout life.
2] Do you know why a car's WINDSHIELD is so large & the rear view mirror is so small? Because our PAST is not as important as our FUTURE. So, look ahead and move on.
3] Friendship is like a BOOK. It takes few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write.
4] All things in life are temporary. If going well enjoy it, they will not last forever. If going wrong dont worry, they can't last long either.
5] Old friends are like Gold! New friends are Diamonds! If you get a Diamond, don't forget the Gold! Because to hold a Diamond, you always need a base of Gold!
6] Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, GOD smiles from above and says, "Relax, sweetheart, it's just a bend, not the end!
7] When GOD solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities; when GOD doesn't solve your problems HE has faith in your abilities.
8] A blind person asked St. Anthony: "Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?" He replied: "Yes, losing your vision."
9] When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them; and sometimes, when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you.
10] WORRYING does not take away tomorrow's TROUBLES; it takes away today PEACE.
Have a nice day and great weekend!

Singapore Botanical Gardens via new Mrt Circle Line CC19
A hot & sunny day @ a Garden in Sg isn't any normal Singaporeans would want to spend their time at.
No amount of sun-shade can protect your skin from tanning into dark brown.
Nevertheless the trip is worth going as the negative-ions there is superbly in abundance. Making a healthy lifestyle.
Morever, u can see 2 white swans having their meals and toddler feeding ducklings. And people picnic relax n there.
Where else can you find such a lobang in Singapore?
Complete set of photos can be found at my facebook album HERE.
Took a Mrt train to Singapore Botanical Gardens via the new circle line. Drop at CC19 (3 stations from Buona Vista or Bishan).
Your eyes are not seeing things.
These are really 2 White Swans in Singapore near Orchard Rd.

Bicycle Tyre Scratch by Mobile Grass Cutter
Yesterday picked up my bicycle with a punctured tyre.
Got it repaired at a bike shop opposite Marsiling MRT.
The boss told me the skin of the rear tyre had a "mini scratch",
so he didn't dare to pump in too much air in case the tyre 'burst'.
He explained to me that it is the work of the grass cutter when we park our bicyle too near to the metal railings. Just take note.
Initailly I thought it was the work of the wild cat who does its daily hand-scratching exercising on the rubber, now the cat is out of the bag! :D

QUOTE from YG Blog :
"... these days, when cutting grass on the slopes or even on big open fields, most contract grasscutters use a petrol-operated machine, strapped to the back, that comes with disposable plastic bands at the cutting end ... even though the cutting is done with a plastic band, there is still the likelihood of someone getting hurt if one gets too close to the grass-cutter. from my experience, whenever the grass-cutter notices a pedestrian approaching, he will stop cutting for the moment. also, every one of them carries a board at the back which says ' danger! keep clear!'...."

New Station vs Snip Avenue near NTU area
Still remember my last post on the saloon wars that is brewing in old Jurong West ? (16 Oct) , see link .
Today when i sent in my bicycle for repair at Jurong West (ext) near NTU, I foresee another "price war" brewing between these 2 rivals... New Station vs Snip Avenue
I wonder what's getting with these two shops, always opening their shops "side by side".
The NEW STATION worker who was distributing flyers told me the Annual Member fees is S$16 in order to enjoy the S$1 hair cut.
I wonder how many times must i visit them to make it worth while?
anyway not much hair left on my head and all whitening..

Hacking at Boon Lay Shopping Ctr
Don't worry , its not some type of human hacking we are talking here.
Recently boon lay shopping center is undergoing a "major face-lift",
transforming itself into a better commercial venue for "new comers".
Expect a new escalator and the giant pavilion for the couryard.
But we were wondering when the hacking will end?
Road blocks n detours here and there, as in the case of the last upgrading project for blks 207 to 215
