Just had a chat with 1 of Power Nasi Lemak Boss.

He lamented that the metal drain cover outside his stall possess a problem for many passerbys.

He witness many people drop their coins or their
mobile phones thru the gaps of the metal grills.

Wondering if the authority can change to flat metal surface type

like the one in Nee Soon estate?

Koi Abandon at Big Drain Next to Choa Chu Kang Blk 440

Today went Lokang fishing around CCK.

Saw a Koi struggling in a big lokang
next to Choa Chu Kang Blk 440!

My Arofanatics forum friend Greg try to find his way

down the treacherous path into the drain to rescue
the poor koi who is almost "drying up".

Took abt a while to go down the big drain via a
smaller lokang nearby using rope and some steps provided.

After rescue the poor koi , brought it to the local fish shop
opposite CCK bus interchange.  

 

Fishes Come Out in Jurong Lake on Good Friday 18 Apr 2014

The uncles who were fishing told me these
'emperor fish'
only come out on public holidays.

Normal days not even a single catch!

These fishes used to be sold in local fish shops.
(aka LFS)

One jogger asked them if these fishes can be eaten,

fisherman uncles replied that anything that moves &
'back facing the sky' are edible!
