Cat Trapped on Ledge in Boon Lay on 17 Sept 2012

Cat Rescue on 17 Sept 2012

This white cat (stray) was again trapped on the ledge of a hdb block in Boon Lay Place Blk 214. It was his second "unlucky" incident  to be trapped on the ledge.

He was previously trapped on the 2nd floor last month on the 24th Aug, see previous story here . Someone has to climb over the parapet wall to bring him safely to the other side of the wall.  However, now it's more dangerous to rescue as  the white cat is trapped on the 4th floor which  could be fatal if the rescuer falls.

Hence, two cat lovers Uncle Jimmy and Mr Dennis in Boon Lay tried to use a cage with his favourite cat food food placed inside it to lure the white cat into it. However hard they tried, the cat just refused to move in. The white cat even hissed at the stick. Till now, I guess they are still trying their best to rescue the cat.

We suspect  it could be the job of a person who put the cat on the ledge, as this was the third time cats has been trapped this way.
We hope not to see this happening the 4th time.

S Pass for Panda | Do Jia Jia Kai Kai Need to Work in Singapore

Hi,  you probably has seen this card posted in the internet.
Someone came up with this funny joke and create a S Pass
for one of the Pandas who arrived in Singapore on 6 Sept.

Since the pair of Pandas Jia Jia /Kia Kai do not really need to work here,
isn't more appropriate that the panda be given PR status?

Panda's mission is mainly to eat, sleep, entertain visitors.
& "hopefully" to produce babies here to become citizens.
I wonder what's the S Pass for?

New Boon Lay CC | Boon Lay Place

Finally I manage to take a tour at the new Boon Lay CC which completed its upgrading in 2011/2012.

Now visitors to the new Boon Lay CC can make full use of the new basketball court even on holidays as the new Boon Lay CC do not have a gate. A water cooler is installed outside the multi--purpose hall on the 1st level to fill up your empty water bottles where in the past we have to buy from vending machines.

There is even a lift where you can take to the upper levels where previously we have to climb up 4 levels of stairs.

If feeling hungry, you can order some pizzas located on the 1st level where the former child-care used to be.

The newspaper corner has also be relocated from the former badminton court to the front of pizza hut outlet. Next to pizza hut there is an AXS Machine where you can conduct your transaction.

The TV corner is now located in front of the office on the 1st level, where are benches for you to sit down.

See my older post before Boon Lay CC was upgraded.
