Have you been to the new Boon Lay Shopping Centre
located 3 stops away from Boon Lay/ Lakeside MRT ?

I grew up & live here  for more than 2.5 decades.

You can find nice food and cheap things in Boon Lay.

Power Nasi Lemak is one of them. 

Hardware Shops selling daily essential items like bowls, stationary, nuts ,
nails, hooks, sockets, soap, hardware tools, spray paints,
locks, etc... are opening  up abundantly here in Boon Lay Shopping Centre!

Theres also a new washing service ctr for people with many dirty laundry (not $ huh).

Cyber Cafes are also opening up with new pcs & games here.

Mobile Phones & Accessories are also a common sight!

Gone are the Grocery Shops in the olden days.

What's left are one or two "Ma Mah" Shop behind near the carpark.

Mynamar shops and foreign / currency exchange  / remittance shops - banks are coming up too.
